ACIM Lesson 114
Review of Lessons 97 and 98
Today’s review invites a profound shift in identity and purpose: I am spirit, and I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation.
The world has taught us to see ourselves as bodies—defined by form, shaped by past experience, and limited by time and circumstance. From this perspective, life becomes something to manage, fix, or control. We search for completion outside ourselves, believing something is missing.
But the lesson offers another way of seeing.
“I am spirit” gently loosens this identification. It points to a Self that is not contained, not defined by what happens in the body or the world. What we truly are remains whole, untouched, and unchanged—an idea held safely in the mind of God.
From this remembering, our sense of purpose begins to shift.
“I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation” is no longer about striving or figuring life out. It becomes a quiet willingness to be guided—to let love extend through us instead of fear. We begin to notice that when we rest in what we are, we move through the world with greater ease, clarity, and connection.
The practice is simple, but not small.
On the hour, we remember what we are.
On the half hour, we allow that truth to be lived.
And in this rhythm, a new perception begins to take hold.
These songs are offered as companions to the practice.
You might listen in the morning or evening,
or return to them during the day—
letting the idea settle more deeply
and accompany you.
Enter the rhythm and let the idea settle within.
Listen gently and allow the meaning to unfold in you.
May this remain with you.
