God is but Love, and therefore so am I.
(169) By grace I live. By grace I am released.
God is but Love, and therefore so am I.
(170) There is no cruelty in God and none in me.
God is but Love, ant therefore so am I.
It feels almost like the hidden summary of Lessons 151–180. Everything we've reflected on—defenselessness, giving, holiness, Home, miracles, grace, and love—has been leading back to this simple realization.
Grace isn't the reward at the end of the path. It is the ground we've been standing on all along.
Grace requires nothing of us.
