ACIM Lesson 224
God is my Father, and He love His Son.
There are days when I can become so identified with the life I see around me that I forget there is something deeper and truer than the person I think I am.
Today’s lesson reminds me that my forgetting has not changed anything. I may lose sight of who I am, but God has not. What He created remains whole, innocent, and held in Love.
I am especially touched by the prayer: Remind me, Father.
I don’t have to figure out my true identity or somehow become worthy of it. Perhaps I only need to become quiet enough to let go of the names and stories I have given myself and allow myself to be reminded.
What would I see today if I looked through the eyes of Love instead?
A Listening Practice
Before entering the silence, you may wish to listen to today’s Prayer Song.
Let the words and music be with you for a while. There is nothing to understand and nothing you need to accomplish.
When the music ends, allow the quiet to remain.
Rest with the lesson.
Listen.
