ACIM Lesson 75
The light has come.
There is a quiet triumph in today’s lesson.
Not the kind of triumph the world celebrates — victory over someone else, or the solving of a problem.
This is something far gentler and far deeper.
“The light has come. I have forgiven the world.”
The Course is pointing to a shift in perception. The world may look the same — the same people, the same circumstances, the same headlines — but the lens through which we see has changed.
Forgiveness does not erase the world.
It reveals what has always been shining through it.
When grievances fall away, the light that was hidden by them becomes visible.
And suddenly the world feels different.
Not because it changed, but because we did.
Today the Workbook invites us to celebrate that change — to pause, to look again, and to let the light show us a world we may never have noticed before.
A Listening Practice
If it feels natural, you might let this idea continue beyond the words.
Two musical reflections accompany this lesson—
each offering a different way of entering the same truth.
A grounded chant, steady and spacious,
like a quiet return within.
A devotional song,
carrying the feeling of being held in what has never changed.
You might listen to one… or both…
not to understand,
but to let the truth be felt.
There is nothing to achieve here.
Only a willingness to rest…
and allow the remembrance to deepen.
