Ascending

In the depths of fear and pain of the ego, we can choose God's love and peace instead. It says in the Course in Miracles, "And so again we make the only choice that ever can be made; we choose between illusions and the truth, or pain and joy, or hell and Heaven."

This image represents the contrast of choice and how one's thoughts can rise from the darkness of the world to Heaven's light. I must constantly remind myself I’m free to choose joy.
