ACIM Lesson 129

Beyond this world there is a world I want.

This lesson does not ask me to deny the suffering I see around me. It asks me to look honestly at it without believing fear is the final truth.

The world feels heavy sometimes. So much anxiety. So much division. So much uncertainty moving through people’s hearts. A Course in Miracles never asks us to pretend otherwise. It says to look at the crucifixion, but not dwell there.

Today’s lesson feels like an invitation to look through the darkness instead of becoming trapped inside it.

Beyond this world of conflict, comparison, fear, and endless striving, something quieter waits for us. A deeper Reality. A world not built upon loss.

Sometimes I touch it only for a moment:
in stillness,
in prayer,
in beauty,
in music,
in silence.

The Course says the lights of Heaven bend toward us today.

Maybe they always have.

Maybe peace has been waiting just beyond the noise, asking only that we become willing to see differently.

A Listening Practice

If it feels natural, you might let this idea continue beyond the words.

Two musical reflections accompany this lesson—
each offering a different way of entering the same truth.

A grounded chant, steady and spacious,
like a quiet return within.

A devotional song,
carrying the feeling of being held in what has never changed.

You might listen to one… or both…
not to understand,
but to let the truth be felt.

There is nothing to achieve here.
Only a willingness to rest…
and allow the remembrance to deepen.

May this be a gentle remembering.
