ACIM Lesson 167

There is one life, and that I share with God.

Lately I've been moving more slowly.

Some days even short distances feel longer than they should. Fatigue has a way of convincing me that my circumstances are telling me the truth about who I am.

Then this lesson arrives.

There is one life, and that I share with God.

The Course doesn't define death the way we usually do. It says death is any thought that I am separate from my Source. Any belief that something real can be lost. Any identification with fear instead of love.

That doesn't mean the body's experiences aren't happening. It means they aren't the deepest truth.

Today I'm reminded that my life is not measured by energy levels, productivity, health reports, or changing circumstances. Those things come and go.

Life itself remains.

The same Life that shines through every flower, every friend, every moment of kindness.

The same Life that cannot be diminished.

So today I'm practicing a simple remembrance:

There is one Life.

And I share it with God.

A Listening Practice

If it feels natural, you might let this idea continue beyond the words.

Two musical reflections accompany this lesson—
each offering a different way of entering the same truth.

A grounded chant, steady and spacious,
like a quiet return within.

A devotional song,
carrying the feeling of being held in what has never changed.

You might listen to one… or both…
not to understand,
but to let the truth be felt.

There is nothing to achieve here.
Only a willingness to rest…
and allow the remembrance to deepen.
