ACIM Lesson 228

God has condemned me not. No more do I.

There are things I wish I had done differently. Words I wish I had not spoken. Choices I would make differently now. But somewhere along the way, regret can become something else: a judgment about who I am.

Today's lesson asks me to lay that judgment down. I can learn. I can make amends. I can choose differently. But I do not have to condemn myself in order to grow. God has not confused my mistakes with my identity. Perhaps today I can stop doing that too.

A Listening Practice

Before entering the silence, you may wish to listen to today’s Prayer Song.

Let the words and music be with you for a while. There is nothing to understand and nothing you need to accomplish.

When the music ends, allow the quiet to remain.

Rest with the lesson.

Listen.
