Father, today I am Your Son again.
Today we are asked to accept something the mind can hardly comprehend: nothing has happened to change what we are.
The years may seem filled with loss and struggle, mistakes and becoming, leaving and returning. Yet beneath the entire story, there has been no interruption in Love. The peace of God has remained untouched, and so have we.
“Today I am Your Son again” is not the announcement of a return after a long absence. It is the remembrance that there was never an absence at all.
God has not waited for us to become worthy again. He has not watched us wander away. What He created remains exactly as He created it—innocent, whole, and forever joined with Him.
Today we simply allow ourselves to recognize it.
Nothing has disturbed the peace of God.
Nothing has changed His Son.
And nothing ever will.
