ACIM Lesson 310

In fearlessness and love I spend today.

There is something wonderfully freeing about today's lesson. We are not asked to conquer our fears, overcome our limitations, or become worthy of God's love. We are simply invited to welcome love into our hearts.

Fear can become so familiar that we forget there is another way to live. We organize our days around what might happen, what could go wrong, or what we believe we must control. Yet beneath all these concerns, the peace of God remains undisturbed.

The Second Coming, as A Course in Miracles describes it, is not a distant event we await. It is the awakening of our shared awareness of Christ, the recognition that we have never been separated from the Love that created us.

And this remembrance is not ours alone.

Today's prayer opens outward, inviting the whole world to join in thankfulness and joy. As we welcome love, we become willing to see it in one another.

Perhaps fearlessness does not mean we never experience fear. Perhaps it means we no longer allow fear to determine how we see, how we love, or how we spend this day.

In fearlessness and love, I spend today.

A Listening Practice

Before entering the silence, you may wish to listen to today’s Prayer Song.

Let the words and music be with you for a while. There is nothing to understand and nothing you need to accomplish.

When the music ends, allow the quiet to remain.

Rest with the lesson.

Listen.
