ACIM Review VI

There comes a point on every spiritual path when learning gives way to living.

Review VI is that invitation.

Jesus is no longer asking us to collect ideas but to inhabit them. He gently asks us to slow down, to practice faithfully, and to discover that transformation comes not from understanding alone but from experience. Fifteen minutes in the morning. Fifteen minutes in the evening. Hour by hour remembering. Little by little, the mind begins to think with God instead of against itself.

The workbook tells us that any one of these ideas would be enough for salvation if it were completely learned. Yet because our minds are accustomed to exceptions, we return to them all, allowing them to blend into one living truth.

At the center of this review stands the refrain that becomes our anchor:

I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.

This is not a statement to force ourselves to believe. It is an invitation to relax into what has always been true.

As Marianne Williamson reminds us, simply knowing these principles is not enough. They must become lived experience. Every time we enter the quiet, our minds are gently reshaped. The Course calls these moments "a loving gift of freedom to the world." Our practice is never ours alone. Each time we choose peace instead of fear, we strengthen that same possibility for everyone.

So let this review become less about doing and more about allowing. Let the silence teach you. Let the Holy Spirit guide your practice. Let these twenty days become a sacred rhythm of remembering, until the truth no longer feels like words you repeat but like the home you have returned to.

Welcome to Review VI. May each time you enter the quiet become another step along the shorter path to the peace of God.
