ACIM Lesson 119
Review of Lessons 107 and 108
There is a quiet humility in today’s review.
It asks me to admit something simple, but not always easy:
if I am upset, I am seeing incorrectly.
“Truth will correct all errors in my mind” reminds me
that the problem is never truly outside of me.
It is in the way I have interpreted what I see.
And yet, I am not asked to fix it alone—
only to become willing to see differently.
Truth does the correcting.
“To give and to receive are one in truth” deepens this practice.
What I extend to another, I experience within myself.
If I withhold understanding, I feel separate.
If I offer forgiveness—even imperfectly—
I begin to remember my own innocence.
Today becomes a gentle training of perception.
A retraining of the mind’s habits.
Not through force, but through repetition.
Not through judgment, but through willingness.
On the hour, I return to truth.
On the half hour, I practice giving what I wish to receive.
And slowly, quietly,
my mind is healed.
A Listening Practice
You might return to the songs that accompany these lessons—
not to understand them,
but to remember…
to let the truth be felt again.
