We can spend so much of our lives waiting for something to finally make us feel complete. A circumstance changes, a wish comes true, and for a moment we rest. Then another longing rises, asking us to search again.

Today’s lesson gently invites us to consider what can truly satisfy the heart. Beneath our changing desires is a longing to remember the Love from which we came—the Love that holds us even when we have forgotten it.

There is room here to enjoy our lives, cherish our relationships, and care deeply about what we do. We can receive these gifts without asking them to carry the whole weight of our belonging. Our home in God is already given.

As this prayer song moves with its steady, earthy rhythm, we practice walking through the day with that remembrance. Each encounter becomes an opportunity to give and receive love. Each moment of reaching becomes an invitation to pause and choose again.

We do not have to force ourselves into peace. We can begin with a little willingness to rest in what is already true.

I am surrounded by God’s Love. Forever still. Forever gentle. Forever safe.
